A special thanks to Edvige Faini who participated in the realization phase

Working in tandem with vinyl toy production house BLK STUDIO, the artist realized 'LAOZI', a limited-edition toy based upon the famous philosopher of ancient China and the mystical Green Man from Europe :

“My primary inspiration was Nature. Since action and balance are the most important elements of my work, I always try to find my own equilibrium like the Nature does. Cutting tapes and designing shapes from them it's an act I devote to find myself: finding the perfect line, as Perfection is Growth.

My artwork was born from the words of wisdom of Lao Tzu and the mythological figure of the Green Man, a legendary pagan deity who roams the woodlands of the British Isles and Europe, often used as symbol of rebirth, or "renaissance", representing the cycle of growth each spring.

As Positive view, linked to nature and balance, mixing west and east, to give shape to my own idea of “wiseman of the woodland”: Powerful, Stable and Full of Wisdom. A sample of Balance and Perfection. “
