For the exhibition ARACNE 8.0 has been chosen Metradamo, italian brand of women’s wear, that embraced the project and its artistic theme giving a perfect location, the old laboratory of milanese painter Filippo de Pisis :

“The laboratory of METRADAMO - says the exhibition's curator Alberto Mattia Martini – is a place that conveys art and creativity; where fantasy and imagination meet in perfect harmony with the work aimed at fulfilling wishes and dreams of man. Maybe this is also due to the appeal resulted from the old brick walls, deliberately scraped, that during the ’40s has been the 'creative haven' of a great artist like Filippo de Pisis. Metradamo is the perfect place for the artistic research of No Curves, that starting from the mythos of Aracne, combines myth, history and tradition with contemporary creativity, that often sees technique and machines as undisputed stars of our time.”

Wire, wool, tape, spider web, loom, technology are the basic elements of this exhibition project. A huge bionic spider and its progeny, tape robots in which melt plastic, technology and mechanical elements are the main characters.
